Sunflowers in Mason Jar: Painted in Oils Alla Prima Contemporary Impressionist Style.
They are painted on a 9x12 canvas panel.
In the area that I live, the majority of farms and fields consist of Cotton, corn and Beans. On very rare occasions you may see a field of sunflowers at the end of the growing season. The beauty makes me want to pull over and set up my easel and yes, pick some too. :-)
